Yumbu 3
Yumbu 3 is a slotted drum sampler with lightning-fast drum kit loading and fast single-stage control, equipped for live use, with improved control, mp3 and wav format support, fast workflow and only 0.5 seconds loading time for the new core kit, Yumbu 3 is one of the fastest drum samplers on the market.
Yumbu 3 uses 10 file sampling slots (.wav, mp3) to build 10 drum-kits of drum components. According to this approach, each slot can be anything from kicks to snares to cymbals or whatever. Each slot is triggered by its own unique midi note that scored on its slot button.
For example, slot 48 is triggered by the note number 48 on the midi keyboard (c2). The sample menu is divided into 14 categories, including a wide range of drum component types.
Yumbu 3 comes with 30 complete drum-kits to get you started. It’s perfect for outlining or producing most of the most common classic genre drum tracks, such as disco, R&B, soul, hip hop, rock, pop, reggae and many more, with carefully crafted samples that fit nicely into the mix and a reasonable drum library size that won’t choke your hard drive.
