LA-One Box Saturator is a hybrid saturation plugin that combines high-performance mathematical DSP with a Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) engine for the ultimate analog-style warmth. Version 2.0.1 introduces a highly responsive GUI that dynamically reacts to saturation levels in real-time.

Controls

INPUT: Adjusts the incoming signal level before processing (-24dB to +24dB).
DRIVE: The heart of the plugin. Controls the amount of saturation and harmonic character (0 to 100).
OUTPUT: Adjusts the final output volume (-24dB to +24dB).
OVERSAMPLING:

Off: Pure performance, zero latency.
2x/4x: Smooth analog feel with reduced aliasing.
x8 (Neural): Engages the dual-mono M/S Neural Engine for the most authentic tube-style saturation.

Visuals

DYNAMIC BACKGROUND WAVEFORM: The background serves as a real-time visualization of the saturation heat. It glows, brightens, and pulses dynamically in response to your input level and the DRIVE knob settings.
HIGH-FIDELITY ROTARY KNOBS: Custom-designed 3D rotary sliders with fluid, smooth rotational frames that offer elegant analog-hardware styling.

Tips

Use the x8 (Neural) mode on your master bus or main instrument tracks for maximum character.
The plugin features automatic gain compensation, so as you push the DRIVE, the output volume stays relatively consistent.
Watch the background wave pulse: if it starts glowing with high intensity, it indicates heavy, rich saturation is being applied!
