Mirage is a musical collaboration that blends the ancient art of Dhrupad vocals with the deep resonance of a rare 1830 Church Bass. Performed by Dhrupad master Chintan Upadhyay and MNTRA founder Brian D’Oliveira, this free instrument presents a richly balanced and unique fusion.
This specific Church bass, deeper and more resonant than a cello, has been featured in many award-winning video game and film titles over the years, lending a touch of historic elegance. Together, Chintan and Brian have crafted new sounds that work effortlessly within contemporary soundtracks.
