TubeDriver Free Tube Amplifier Emulation
TubeDriver is one of the most flexible saturation plugins on the market
Thanks to its detailed control scheme, the user can adjust tube saturation, bias, and volume parameters, with an optional boost for additional gain.
The plugin also features a pre-EQ to shape the signal before it reaches the virtual tube. Oversampling (16X) is also included, ensuring high-quality sound when playing back overdriven audio.
Controls
- Pre EQ: High-pass, peak, shelf, and resonant low-pass filters.
- BIAS: Adjusts the bias of the tube stage grid which controls the symmetry of the tube amp’s saturation.
- DRIVE: Amount of gain applied by the tube amp.
- VOLUME: Output level.
- BOOST: +12db additional gain applied by the tube amp.
- BYPASS: Switches the TubeDriver to bypass mode.
- MONO: Switches the TubeDriver to mono mode: processes the left input and outputs both left and right signals.
- PHASE: Inverts the phase of the output signal.
- HP Freq: Frequency after the high-pass filter.
- LP Freq: Frequency after the low-pass filter.
- Dry/Wet: Overall Dry/Wet control.
- Oversample: Real-time oversampling frequency.
- 16x On Render: Oversampling frequency in host Render (Mixdown) mode:
- OFF: The oversampling frequency in host Render (Mixdown) mode is the same as in real-time;
- ON: The oversampling frequency is set to a maximum value (16x) in host Render (Mixdown) mode.
