Acustica Audio’s Free Dynamic Equalization Suite
Jet is a high-performance 2-band dynamic equalization suite developed by Acustica Audio. This free bundle includes two players: Jet and Jet Mix, designed to offer fast and musical solutions without compromising sound quality.
Unlike previous versions, this suite combines Acustica’s analog sampling technology with digital algorithms for the dynamic section, also allowing the loading of different equalization models derived from their most popular Acqua plugins.
What does the Jet suite include?
The Jet package is designed to cover different needs within a production session:
- Jet: A free plugin designed primarily for bus processing (Bus Group).
- Jet Mix: A free plugin optimized for mixing tasks on individual tracks.
Both versions feature three different EQ models for the dynamic section:
- Eminence Model: A sampled equalizer with selected frequencies (LF: 20Hz-160Hz / HF: 7kHz-20kHz) derived from the renowned Eminence plugin.
- Digital Shelf / Digital Shelf HQ 2X: Two algorithmic models with an extended frequency range from 20Hz to 17kHz, ideal for precise and surgical adjustments.
Why use dynamic equalization?
Sometimes, a static equalizer is not enough. Jet allows acting only when a specific frequency exceeds a certain threshold, avoiding unnecessary cuts throughout the entire song. It represents the perfect balance between a dynamic processor (compressor) and an equalizer, allowing a band’s gain to change intelligently according to the control signal.

Jet is a permanent free plugin and is available in industry-standard formats: VST, VST3, AU, and AAX.
To get it, you must download the Aquarius Desktop installation manager from Acustica Audio. Once inside, go to the “My Products” section to see all available free plugins, select Jet, and start the installation.
